Fashion Illustration is versatile when it comes to event activations, entertainment, products or artwork to bring your space to life! Many creative services are available for special events, brand activations, marketing material, and art licensing. . Together, we can make the booking process as smooth as possible leading up to your event!

Hourly rate + Material Fee + Travel Fees (if necessary)

Please note that rates vary per event.

We consider factors including but not limited to: Travel, Guest list size, custom requests, and accommodations. ***Rates above do not apply to custom hand painted goods (Including but not limited to: Paper fans, jewelry boxes, perfume bottles etc) as these require more labor/time and an all inclusive flat rate.

Bookings must be made at least 3 weeks in advance. For traveling outside the state/country, requests must be made 1 month in advance to secure stays, flights, etc.

All payments and pending balances are due before or on the date of your event.

  • If your inquiry and subsequent booking was made prior to the twenty one (21) day period before the start of your event, a 50% non-refundable security deposit must be made to secure event date, booking and materials for your event, unless Client and Vendor mutually agree on an alternative. This security deposit will go toward your overall balance and will be required for Vendor to cover travel, material costs, and other reasonable expenses, if necessary, before your event. 

  • Material fee covers paper, supplies, and plastic protective sleeves that will be calculated depending on your number of guests and needs.

  • Southern California - Orange County/ LA / San Diego (fee for gas - commute only)

    Outside of Southern California / out of state - email to inquire :) - keep in mind accommodations, flight, commute etc! :)

  • A 50% security deposit (TBD) is required for all bookings to secure your booking date

    For events that require travel outside of Southern California, a non-refundable deposit to cover travel expenses and materials is needed before securing your booking - this will be determined based on flight prices, stays, etc.

  • Depending on scope of work for larger events, a creative assistant would be needed for Jade to control work flow, creating content, hand out of illustrations, and taking care of guests as she creates (assistant would be hired by Jade).

  • In the event that the Client fails to make payment in full by the due date specified in the invoice, a late fee of $100.00 per day shall be incurred for each day the payment remains overdue. This late fee shall be calculated from the day immediately following the due date until the date payment is received in full. The Client agrees to pay all accrued late fees in addition to the outstanding balance.

Some things to keep in mind...

  • Proper lighting and set-up is required for live illustrating. Any changing colored lighting, dimly lit locations, strobe lights, etc isn’t ideal for painting/drawing. A designated good sized table or reserved section is optimal to place illustrations out to dry that guests will come back for, room for a variety of art supplies, sign up sheets etc.

  • On the day of your event, Jade will arrive 30-45 mins earlier to set up/warm up before event begins. Depending on # of guests, Jade will bring a creative assistant to help with work flow.

  • Make sure to emphasize who will be celebrated or other guests who would need to be illustrated first, suggested attire is also welcomed for Jade! (Specific colors, occasion, brands)

  • Creative mediums such as alcohol Markers, ink pens and paint markers will be used for illustrations.

How it works

  • Depending on your creative needs and number of guests, amount of Illustrations can vary from 8-12 per hour (5-8 mins per illustration) if done on 5x7 paper (12-15) Illustrations per hour. - this is determined by detail wanted as well as the sizing of the paper you choose!

  • Guests will have a finished fashion illustration by the end of event. Guests can choose to wait for their illustration or go enjoy the event and come back for their illustration with their picture taken with Ipad.

  • A digital online Queue system will notify guests once their illustration is completed. Jade has a creative assistant to control work flow and to ensure guests enjoy your event!

  • Plastic sleeves to protect artwork during the event is provided for your guests.

Questions

  • Jade takes 5-7mins to complete each illustration. Jade works with 5in. X 7in. cardstock paper. Depending on the size of Illustration paper, Jade can do up to 10-12 illustrations per hour.

  • In order to ensure guests get their illustrations in a timely manner, Jade will have a creative assistant responsible for managing the line on a first come first serve basis. Her assistant uses a digital queue system that will notify each guest upon completion of the illustration, so they can enjoy the event and come back for their drawing at their leisure.

  • Jade’s creative assistant will take video and photo content for social media channels including but not limited to: Instagram and Tiktok with permission from Client in Event Contract.

  • This varies depending on the event and client. Jade will not be able to complete illustrations outside of hourly pay unless negotiated first with Brand + Client.

  • Jade will contact Brand or client with unfinished guest illustrations for approval. Without approval, Jade will be unable to complete illustrations.

  • Yes! Custom branding for Illustration paper is highly encouraged and can be submitted up to 5 days before your event. Watercolor paper and marker illustration paper can be customized. These material fees will be included in your final quote.
